Agencija Stari grad Mostar

Due to big damages of the structures during the war 1992-1995, „Old Town“ Agency launched an initiative to set the protective scaffoldings on the devastated structures.

In conformity with the decision of mayor of the city of Mostar we prepared the project documentation on the protection scaffoldings on the devastated structures in the historic city area of Mostar as follows:

House of Grkovic family (structure of former „Zdravljak“, on the crossroads on the Luka settlement bridge)
Building of a Two-year Girls' college (ensemble consisting of a former „Borovo“ shoe shop, vocational school and a coffee-house „Pre-holiday evening*“) Structure „Hetmos“
Structure „Konak“
Structure in 144, Marshall Tito Street
Structure in 140, Marshall Tito Street
Building of the Municipality („Nama“)
Structure of the Paher-Kisic bookshop Building of „Soko“-engineering
Structure in 61, People's Revolution Boulevard

We have additionally submitted aplication and we received a positive expert opinion for the Projects of protective scaffoldings for the structures mentioned above by the Federal Institute for Protection of Monuments and an approval by the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning. Now we we wait for the funds from the budget of the city of Mostar to become operative for their implementation.
