Kneza Viseslava bb, 88000 Mostar, contractor's supervisor Mr. Slobodan Matrak Body responsible for realization: Agencija „Stari grad“ Mostar, project manager Mr. Anto Sain Historical area – old city of Blagaj (Stjepan-grad) in Blagaj near Mostar is declared to constitute a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter referred to as: national monument) National monument is located on a location which covers cadastral plot number 1546, one part of cadastral plot number 3768 (access footpath towards the old city) and the parts of the cadastral plot number 3025, 3768 and 3789 (necropolis dedicated to Muslims dying heroic deaths in battle for faith)) (cadastral municipality) Blagaj, city of Mostar, city area southeast, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR IMPLEMENTATION Old city of Blagaj (Stjepan grad) was partly examined from the archaeological point of view in 1965 by the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2009 sounding works in organization of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina were continued as well. Planned protective conservationist works 2009-2010 were financed by the Federal ministry of culture and sport, Touristic community of Bosnia and Herzgovina and UNESCO. The works have protective character and they constitute conservationist works of the disrupted structures of the city. The positions which are the subject of the works have been defined in the conservationist project and they cover continually the northern rampart and its towers. Tower 1 grouting of the northern and lateral sides of the tower with the conservation of crown Vestibule, conservation and rehabilitation of the damaged formwork wall, conservation of the crowns and defence parapets Entering tower, rehabilitation of one part of a missing tower wall with conservation of the lateral wings, installation of the wooden constructions used to stabilize the facility Rampart 1 restoration of the existing defence parapets, rehabilitation of the missing wall part on the northern and western side with consolidation of angle Conservation of the archaeological walls of a mosque Rehabilitation of the walls of the existing water cisterns to be used again in the course of the works |
