Agencija Stari grad Mostar

In late January 2015 "Stari grad" Agency performed the technical acceptance of the carried out work on the memorial house of family of Gojko Vukovic in Donja Mahala (a settlement of Mostar). The necessary funds were provided by the budget of the city of Mostar.

- Preliminary work and preparatory work;

- Demolition work;

- Roof tiling work;

- Painting work;

- Plumbing;

- External plastering;

- Joinery work.

Description of the project

Roof construction of the building together with stone slab roof cladding was damaged on a considerable number of spots or it was completely destroyed because of influence of weather and precipitation, coupled with inadequate maintenance. Similar condition was discovered in the wooden openings too (doors, windows, wood-frame constructions and gates), as well as verandas and floors. Facade has had present cracks and considerable damage of the final coating, as well as damage of stone applications.

It was necessary to carry out the replacement of the damaged timber, roof insulation and roof cladding, tin sheet flashing (pieces) and it was necessary to install gutters. All the openings have been carefully restored and preserved in authentic shape. Basic traditional materials for interior and exterior works have been applied on the building.

Architectural structure conformed completely to the original look of the building.
