Works on the current maintenance of the roof truss on the residential complex of Velagicevina (house of Djikic/Milavic) in Blagaj near Mostar, as well as the additional works on the indicated structure

 

Contractor: G. D. (civil construction company) Arhitekt d. o. o. (limited liability company - l. l. c.) Mostar, and the Contract was signed on 30.06.2014. The amount of works is 18,254.34 KM (with Value Added Tax, i. e. VAT included in the price). On 14.04.2015 Annex No. 1 of the Contract for the works in question was signed in the amount of 8,305.66 convertible marks with Value Added Tax included in the price), which totals 26,560.00 convertible marks (with Value Added Tax included in the price.

Start of the works: 17.04.2015.

End of the works: 04.12.2015.

Supervision over the works was performed by "Delta-Z Infinitinet" d. o. o. Mostar in the amount of 900.00 convertible marks (with a Value Added Tax included in the price).

The funds were provided by Federal ministry of culture and sport.

 

In conformity with the finished situation, the following woks were carried out:

Disassembly of roof cladding of stone slabs.

Disassembly of fir-tree laths from the rafter of the roof truss.

Disassembly of rafter and other parts of the roof truss with three slopes.

Disassembly of the damaged and deformed wooden attic lining of shingle from the floor ceiling.

Finish pulling down the unstable parts of the crenellation of the facade walls and load bearing walls and fabrication of a hidden reinforced concrete (RC) horizontal reinforced concrete beam.

Collection, vertical and horizontal transfer form courtyard to road, loading onto the truck, transport and unloading the construction rubble at the city dump.

Rough mortaring and final mortaring of the stone wall surfaces of the spacious corridor on a floor in old civil houses of southeastern facade wall below oriel.

Fabrication and installation of a wooden roof truss with three slopes.

Coating of the upper surfaces of the roof construction with treated board formwork d-24 mm.

Application of hydroinsulation layer over the board formwork (sandwich: cardboard+aluminum foil+cardboard).

Forging of the fir-tree laths with section 3/5 cm against the board formwork over the hydroinsulation layer in the lateral and longitudinal direction and with spacing of 40 cm.

Partial change of board roofing 24 mm thick over the ceiling beams.

Additional works

Rrocurement, transport and installation of new first-class coniferous wooden ceiling beams (pine or spruce instead of the present ones with working inspired by the present ones, and the occasional replacement of board roofing 24 mm thick.

Subsequent works

Disassembly of an unstable shear wall on the open-fronted porch implemented in wooden frame construction, as well as disassembly of windows in shear wall, disassembly of doors and pillars which bear the purlin of the roof.

Disassembly of a wooden pillar placed on a concrete base of a wooden post, which constitutes structural part of the roof and it carries purlin over wooden bolsters. 

Procurement, fabrication and assembly of a wooden pillar with wooden bolsters dimension assembled beneath purlin of a roof.

Procurement, transport, fabrication and installation of the struts dimension placed beneath purlin of a roof.

Fabrication and installation of the stone-base of a wooden post.

Procurement, transport, fabrication and installation of a wooden frame construction on the open-fronted porch, installation of the existing openings.

Procurement, fabrication and installation of tin sheet flashing pieces around the chimney d-2 mm having literal width 60 cm.

Procurement, fabrication and installation of flashing (piece) of valley of roof made of tin sheet d-2 mm having literal width 60 cm.

Due to inability of the Contractor to fulfill temporal and substantive obligations under the pertinent Contract and Annex No. 1, an agreement on the termination of contract and Annex No. 1 was reached for works on the "Current maintenance of the roof truss on the Velagicevina residential complex (Djikic/Milavic house in Blagaj" between "Stari grad" Agency and GD "Arhitekt" ("Architect" civil construction company).

"Stari grad" Agency made a decision to launch the procedure to procure the works on Velagicevina complex, and on 15.10.2015 a contract was signed between "Stari grad" Agency and SZR (independent artisan shop) "Mitel" from Mostar for the works on the pertinent project amounting 5,300.00 convertible marks (with Value Added Tax included in the price). The funds were provided by the Federal ministry of culture and sports.

The following works were carried out:

Covering of the roof truss with stone slabs 3-4 cm thick, 40 % of the total roof surface in compliance with traditional details and manner of placement.

Covering of the roof truss with a present roof slab 3-4 cm thick, 60 % of the total roof surface in compliance with traditional details and manner of placement.

On 4.12.2015 Committee for inspection of the works which were carried out found out that the works have beeen carried out in compliance with scope of the works and the contracted conditions, and all of that has been done in compliance with the project and in accordance with valid technical regulations, obligatory standards and the obligations which stem from the Decision of the Committee to Preserve National Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina and an Act of Physical Planning of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
