Second phase of rehabilitation – reconstruction of roof truss and (intermediate) floors of the Old Bishop Palace in Vukodol, Mostar

After the selection of the most favourable bidder („Građevinar Fajić“ d. o. o. Mostar) („Građevinar Fajic“ civil construction company, limited liability company – l. l. c. Mostar) Agency „Stari grad“ signed with it a Contract dated 6.11.2015. The amount of works is 31,182.84 convertible marks (with Value Added Tax included in the price). Supervision over the pertinent works was performed by“DM Projekt“ d. o. o. (limited liability company – l. l. c.) Mostar in the amount of 1,579.50 convertible marks (with Value Added Tax included in the price). The funds were obtained from the budget of city of Mostar for 2015. The following works were carried out:

Preliminary work:

-Removal of the old damaged wooden beams, ceiling and roof with their transport to the city dump – lump sum;

-Cleaning of the entire structure of the rubbish and litter and rubble with their transport to the city dump – 250 square metres;

-Cleaning and transport of the self-sown vegetation, weed and brushwood around the structure which jeopardize access to the building and construction of the building – 300 square metres.

Carpenter's work:

-Fabrication of the floor (framing) scheme consisting of first-class wooden oak beams with section 16 x 18 cm, axial span 60 cm – 208 square metres

Joinery work:

-Fabrication, delivery and installation of wooden revolving doors, made out of first-class wooden timber. The doors were made in two layers of planks d-2.5 cm and d-2.5 cm in accordance with enclosed joinery scheme. Door frame with section 11 x 15 cm. The doors are installed with dry procedure in stone needles (frames). Protection of the wood: coat with linseed oil (one time to be coated in the workshop, two times to be coated on the site). In the item has been included all the necessary door hardware and the lock, traditional, wrought. The dimensions of the door were taken on the spot.

- 215 x 256 cm (double door in the basement) – piece: 1;

-225 x 264 cm (double door in the ground floor) – piece: 1;

-140 x 220 cm (one-winged door in the ground floor) – piece: 1;

-113 x 202 cm (one-winged door on the floor)

Miscellaneous works:

- Filling up on the holes in the stone walls after setting the floor (framing) scheme up – 72 pieces;

-Temporary closure of the existing window openings with fir-tree small beam frame5/8 cm to which reinforced nylon has been attached.

93x133cm – 36 pieces;

73x55cm – 4 pieces;

-Transport, assembly and disassembly of the scaffolding for work. The scaffolding must be stable and accessible for work, complying with all the security measures – 60 square metres

„Stari grad“ Agency signed a contract with DZG „Građevinar Fajić“ („Građevinar Fajić“ civil construction company) on 8.1.2016 by way of negotiation procedure without publishing any procurement notice (II phase of rehabilitation reconstruction of truss and (intermediate) floors of Old Bishop Palace in Vukodol – Mostar – additional works which have not been included into originally concluded Contract numbered: I-25-990-16/15 dated 6.11.2015). The amount of those works is 3,739.91 convertible marks (with Value Added Tax included in the price). The supervision over those works was performed by DM Projekt in the amount of 351.00 convertible marks (with Value Added Tax included in the price), and the funds were provided from the budget of the city of Mostar for 2015. The following works were carried out:

-Ceiling beam supports, wooden oak beams. Supply of the material, preparation of timber and installation of the wooden oak beams – beam built into masonry construction into stone walls. The ceiling beams will lean against beams bilt into masonry construction (item (II/1). Beams built into masonry construction have cross section 10 x 10 cm, they are protected with insecticide and laid to equalizing layer of lime mortar with average thickness of 3 cm – 135 m'.

-Pillars, bolster, ceiling joist. Supply of material, preparation of timber and installation of wooden oak pillars, bolsters and ceiling joists as reinforcements beneath the ceiling beams, position 100 (item (II/1). Pillars – two pieces with cross section 16/18 cm, bolster 16/18 cm and ceiling joist 18/16 + 8 cm. Wooden timber protected with insecticide – 0.65 cubic metres;

-Filling up on the holes in the stone walls after setting the floor (framing) scheme up – 2 pieces

-Transport, assembly and disassembly of the scaffolding for work. The scaffolding must be stable and accessible for work, complying with all the security measures – 100 square metres.

On 1.4.2016, the Contractor notified „Stari grad“ Agency about the completion of the works „Second phase of rehabilitation – reconstruction of the roof truss and (intermediate) floors of the Old Bishop Palace in Vukodol – Mostar“, as well as additional works which have not been included in the previously contracted contract.
