CURRENT MAINTENANCE OF THE FACILITY OF NATIONAL THEATRE IN MOSTAR

Basic information:
Public institution National Theatre in Mostar was officially established and started work on 28th November 1949 in the hall of the worker's association of "Abrasevic".
On the occasion a production of "Noć u Globukom" of a Slovenian writer Matej Bor had its first run, staged by Safet Pasalic.
Although the decision of the founder of that time contained only one provision which read: "Provincial National theatre is established in Mostar" and its future profile has not been determined with any other directions whatsoever, from the very beginning the National Theatre was profiled in terms of repertoire, human resources and organization as a professional theatrical company.
In that period assistance from National Theatre from Sarajevo was sought in order to implement the decision on establishment in the best way possible, so consequently the actors Saveta Beatović, Slavko Grahovac and Safet Pasalic came to Mostar, and Safet Pasalic was at the same time the first head of the Theatre and the producer of the first production
Along with amateur actors from Mostar, Trebinje and Vojvodina they started a big theatrical dream.
Description of project:
While designing, the protection measures laid down by legal decisions have been taken into account.
In conformity with that all the existing elements were kept on the facade and the classic materials were employed (wood, mortar, paint).
At spots containing major damage the removal of the remaining mort all the way to the healthy primer has taken place and then the very surface was treated by means of appropriate mortar for renovation and repair.
Finally, complete surface was treated with silicate deep pre-coat, precious white final decorative mortar with 1.5 mm granulation, and then final paint based on SiSI technology in the tint close to the existing plaster was applied to the existing plaster.
At all the window openings the windows have been built in conformity with original designs and before the final treatment of the facade.
The existing roof cover consisting of asbestos boards has been replaced with the roof panel 5 cm thick over the repaired existing construction.
Rooms on the second floor were kept in the existing dimensions, and the walls and the ceilings were repaired and built additionally.
Within the fabrication of the ceiling a thermal insulation has been built additionally.
The existing water installations were tested, and the sanitary equipment was built in accordance with existing condition.
Subsequently mounted pergola covers were removed at the entrance into the structure, and the pergola was set up again in accordance with the existing socles which are located in the ground floor, namely on the walls of the project.
1. "Stari grad" Agency launched an open procedure to receive bids for the procurement of the works "Current maintenance of the facility of National theatre in Mostar and facility of D'Art atelier", so after conducted procedure of public procurement it signed a contract with "Bišina" civil construction company in the amount of 138.563,68 convertible marks with Value Added Tax included in the price.
In conformity with the finished situation, the following works were carried out:
Preparatory work (disassembly of the present roof cover, laths, covers, construction of pergola, gutter, flashing (pieces) and transport, removal of a part of partition walls, remains of the dropped ceiling with wooden subconstruction, cleaning from the flat roof)
carpenter's work (fabrication of the slab roofing, hammering nails into laths on the roof, procurement and assembly of the ceiling beams, procurement, fabrication and assembly of the pergola at the main entrance),
roof tiling work (tiling of the roof with thermal insulation roof panel over the roof construction, procurement and asembly of the new semi-circular tiles which cover the ridge over the roof panel),
bricklayer's work (additional building of a part of a wall, plastering of the new and the repair of the present walls, cleaning of the screed, repair of the damaged cornice on the southern side, reparation of the southern facade).
joinery work (procurement and installation of 29 windows out of healthy pine wood, procurement and installation of 15 doors)
tiling work (coating walls and floors with ceramic tiles)
floor laying work (fabrication of a pavement)
dropped ceilings (fabrication of a dropped floor out of Knauf gypsum boards)
painting works (painting walls and the ceiling with a fast colour, painting of part of facades)
plumber's work (procurement, fabrication and assembly of the flshing (piece), as well as the dripping edge
water supply system and sewage system (fabrication of the interior installation, procurement and assembly of the new sanitary equipment and devices)
electrical installation (fabrication of a new installation for lighting and sockets)
2. "Stari grad" Agency launched a competitive request procedure to receive bids for the procurement of the works "Current maintenance of the facilities of National theatre in Mostar", and after the public procurement procedure was conducted, it signed a contract with "BIŠINA" civil construction limited liability company for the works on the abovementioned project in the amount of 61.825,14 convertible marks with Value Added tax included in the price.
In compliance with tender documentation the following works have been performed:
Preparatory work (setting up and organization of the site, examination of the condition of the facility and mobilization of equipment and work force)
facade works (repair of the northern facade, interventions on the cornices)
roof tiling works (fabrication of the slab roofing, hammering nails into laths on the roof, roof covering with thermal insulation roof panel over the roof truss, procurement and assembly of the new semi-circular tiles which cover the ridge over the roof panel)
joinery work (procurement and installation of 7 windows out of healthy pine wood) and
other works.
3. "Stari grad" Agency launched a procedure for procurement of works "Current maintenance of facades with painting in the historic city area of Mostar".
After the conducted public procurement procedure, a contract with "Bišina" civil construction company to perform the works on the pertinent project in the amount of 37.577,82 convertible marks with Value Added Tax included in the price.
In conformity with tender document the following works have been performed:
Facade works with painting of facilites in Kujundziluk Street (six facilities) and
Facility NATIONAL THEATRE, Mostar, Marshall Tito Street
Repair of the damaged cornice on the easter and western side, with concrete in formwork following the example of the present undamaged cornice and repair of the present eastern and western facade, with structure and texture as the present finish.
