Current maintenance of structures in the historic city area of Mostar and Blagaj

On 03.09.2019 Agencija "Stari grad" made a decision to launch a public procurement procedure by way of competitive procedure with implementation of e-auction to deliver the bids for the works: "Current maintenance of structures in the historic city area of Mostar and Blagaj". Funds were provided from the budget of the city of Mostar for year 2019. Notification about procurement of the works for "Current maintenance of structures in the historic city area of Mostar and Blagaj" was published on the portal of the Public Procurement Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina on 05.09.2019.

After the public procurement procedure was performed, and in conformity with Act on public procurement and by-laws, on 30.09.2019 Agencija "Stari grad" made a contract with the best bidder - G. D.  "IZGRADNJA TOJAGA" d. o. o. Mostar to perform the works of "Current maintenance of structures in the historic city area of Mostar and Blagaj" in the amount of 17.526,13 convertible marks with Value Added Tax included in the price.

In conformity with the finished situation, the following works were carried out:

PREPARATORY WORK: Disassemblies of the old damaged roof construction, of the tiles and board with insulation, of old tin sheet flashing pieces, damaged tile and ridge tile, sawing off the rafters, setting up supports of the purlins on the replacement spots, loading of the material and transport to the city dump and enclosing of the site by means of protective fence;

ROOF TILING WORK: Procurement, transport and installation of roof construction: fabrication of the construction out of fir timber consisting of rafters, board cladding on the rafters, free-flowing lath 1/3 cm, lath 3/5 cm, cardboard, fabrication of the wooden subconstruction for wainscot, protection and painting of the wainscot, painting of the outer wooden openings with necessary preliminary work, restoring tiles with new board and insulation, procurement, transport and installation of the tiles and the ridge tiles; 

PLUMBER'S WORK: Fabrication of a metal roof exit dimensioning 100 x 80 cm, fabrication and installation of the flashing pieces, vertical and horizontal gutters, as well as fabrication and assembly of the openings to access the attic. Procurement, transport and installation of the flashing pieces at the junction of the institution and the municipality building, drip edges on slopes, the flashing pieces of the frontal part of the eaves, introductory tin, tin flashing pieces beneath the gutter; remodelling of the horizontal gutters, lining of the eaves of the roof with wainscot and installation of the flashing pieces around the roof exit. Assembly and disassembly of the scaffolding.

On 24.10.2019 Committee for examination of the accomplished works performed the internal delivery between the contractor and the investor by way of minutes for the performed works on the current maintenance of structures in the historic city area of Mostar and Blagaj and it found out that the works have been carried out in compliance with scope of the works and contracted conditions, in accordance with valid technical regulations, obligatory standards and norms and the obligations which stem from the decision of the Committee to Preserve National  Monuments to designate historic city area of Blagaj as a national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina, so that those works may be accepted on the part of the investor.
