Current maintenance and conservation of the ramparts of the old city of Blagaj (Stjepan grad) IV phase - continuation of the works

Launched public procurement procedure through competitive request to receive bids for works on the pertinent project on 09.02.2022. Funds were provided from the budget of the city of Mostar for 2021. After implemented public procurement procedure on 09.03.2022 Agencija "Stari grad"signed a contract with best bidder civil construction company "GRAĐEVINAR FAJIĆ" limited liability company for the implementation of the works on the project "Current maintenance and conservation of the ramparts of the old city of Blagaj (Stjepan grad) IV phase - continuation of the works" in the amount of 76.644,95 convertible marks with Value Added Tax included in the price.. On 07.03 Agencija "Stari grad" launched public procurement procedure for the services of supervision over the current maintenance and conservation of the ramparts of the old city of Blagaj - IV phase. For the realization of the procurement, funds were provided in the budget of the city of Mostar for 2022.. After implemented public procurement procedure, a contract with the best bidder civil construction company "Bišina" limited liability company for the procurement of services of supervision on the pertinent works in the amount of 3.199,95 cnvertible marks with Value Added Tax included in the price.

In conformity with contracted obligation and the bill of quantities (BoQ) the following works have been performed:

I      Preliminary work:

Design and build machine ramp (cableway);

Costs of electric energy supply and water deposit

II     Preparatory work

Cleaning terrain against the vegetation;

Preparation of the terrain to assemble the scaffolding

Assembly and disassembly of the scaffolding to perform the works

III    Conservationist-bricklayer's work:

Disassembly of the non-consolidated stone;

Procurement, transport and building of the wall surface with present and new stone in the 30:70 ratio.. Stone cleaned, sorted and prepared for installation, base of the wall cleaned;

Procurement, transport and building of the wall crown with present and new stone in 50:50 ratio. Wall crown built with a slight inclination toward outside;

Dressing and building two-face reveal wall openings, manufacturing of stone arch lintels, preparation of the stone openings. Stone cleaned, sorted and prepared for installation;

Disassembly of the loosely connected stone in the inside, on the eastern part of the city;

Excavation of two probes which connect the interior of the ramart and the accesses at the depth of 1.2 metres;

Procurement, transport and building of the wall with two faces with the existing and new chiselled stone in ratio 20:80. Stone cleaned, sorted and prepared for installation, base of the wall cleaned;

Procurement, transport and masonry wall crown of the interior walls of the rampart with the existing and new stone in ratio 50:50. Wall crown is implemented with a gentle inclination towards outside;

Procurement, transport and building of the wall with two faces with the existing and the new chiselled stone in ratio 20:80 of the fence wall "defence parapet" in height of 80 cms from the final dimension of the wall;

Building-archaeological excavation of the collapsed stone material, in front of and inside of the rampart;

Procurement, transport and installation of mortar to fill the joints of the walls, rampart and fortification with lime mortar;

Procurement, transport of the broken stone 10 cm high and its spreading on the floor of the room in the towers.

On 02.06.2022 the contractor notified Agencija "Stari grad" about the completion of the works on the project "Current maintenance and conservation of the ramparts of the old city of Blagaj (Stjepan grad) IV phase".

On 03.06.2022 Committee for inspection of the works stated that the works were carried out after the project in accordance with valid technical regulations, standards, normative provisions and the obligations stemming from the decision on designation of historic urban landscape of Mostar as national monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
